The holidays are a time to rest and relax while enjoying the company of family and friends. When having people over to your home, why not utilize your pool to provide a pretty ambiance or backdrop to holiday festivities? We are sharing a few tips for your patio and pool that will enhance your experience.
Try adding Christmas lights to bushes or hedges surrounding your pool. If you have trees framing your pool or background, try stringing some “Charlie Brown” lights to give your backyard some color. Remember, during the holidays, there’s no such thing as too many lights.
If your pool has a waterfall or jets, that in and of itself can establish a calming environment for entertaining. If it doesn’t, try playing some soft holiday music in the background. That, combined with the lights, will make your guests feel right at home.
If lights and holiday music don’t appease your inner Clark Griswold, then try adding real floats such as a blow-up Santa or Reindeer to your pool! If you’re looking for a classier vibe, try adding a few floating candles.
Consider placing a few holiday flowers like poinsettias around your pool to give it a touch of color and make it feel cozier. You can also display a few pictures of past holidays with family for a little nostalgia.
We hope we’ve given you some great ideas to utilize your pool space for your next holiday bash! Please consider COVID guidelines when planning your next get together.
