Movie Night Under the Stars

If you have a projector, try setting up a screen that’s visible from the pool to enjoy your favorite movies poolside. It’s a nice little break from the typical movie theater setting but with all the same feels. Try serving classic movie theater favorites like popcorn, boxed candy, and nachos to complete the theme.

Luau Party

Everyone loves a good luau and what a better way to end summer than sporting your favorite Hawaiian shirt and lei while sipping on a Mai Tai. Set the ambiance with some nice island reggae music while you enjoy exotic fruits and Hawaiian pork and fish while soaking up some much-needed vitamin D.

Back-to-School Bash

Celebrate back-to-school with a splash! Enjoy classic pool games like go-fish or host a scavenger hunt for guests to enjoy with a fun school themed prizes like pencils, pens, and fun erasers. Serve “school lunch” favorites like sandwiches, chips, apples, and chex mix snacks.

Game Day Delight

There’s nothing better than relaxing around the pool with friends while enjoying a big game. Pull out that projector and stream the game live for everyone to enjoy while floating in the pool. If you have a laptop projector, you can also stream the game onto any surface like a white bedsheet or solid background. Order in BBQ or grill classic hot dogs and hamburgers to feed family and friends.

Pool Olympics

If your guest list has mad competitive vibes, this theme is for you! Start the party with a fun opening ceremony and then move on to water and land games such as bocce ball, bags, water polo, noodle jousting, and Marco Polo. Once the games are over and tallied, have hand-crafted medals to give out to the winners. For munchies, show your pride for your country by serving all-American food like hamburgers, hotdogs, and a mixed fruit bowl with strawberries, blueberries, and yogurt for dipping!

Keep yourself and your guests (including kids) safe by being extra careful with electrical cords and equipment near the water. We hope we’ve been able to give you some ideas for your last summer pool party!
